Digital Photography: Beginner

6 Wednesday nights & 1 field trip - Starts 22 February from 7-9pm

Learn how to get the best out of your camera by learning basic camera operating techniques, lenses, exposure, lighting, depth of field and how to make rather than take photographs. Also includes basic computer improvements to photos. The two hour fieldtrip during a weekend will be on the date which best suits most students.

Digital Photography: Hands On

A practical course involving three classroom sessions, three Wednesday evening location shoots and one weekend shot. Sessions will cover people, landscape, still life, night photography, all designed to teach creative techniques of making photographs. Assumes a basic knowledge of camera operation.

ESOL: Intermediate Conversational Group

Conversational English for those who feel confident at reading and writing. The focus is on learning pronunciation & meaning in a NZ context so that you will gain NZ cultural intelligence to complement your English language skills. Additional written and comprehension support can be given if requested by class members. Emphasis is placed on topical NZ cultural events so that you may gain confidence and become part of your community.
