Digital Photography: Beginner

Learn how to get the best out of your camera by learning basic camera operating techniques, lenses, exposure, lighting, depth of field and how to make rather than take photographs. Also includes basic computer improvements to photos.

Guitar: Beginner & Intermediate

This course will show beginners how to form basic chords and use them to accompany a range of songs. Students will learn several different strums and a simple but effective finger picking technique. Bring your own guitar. Intermediate students will work on the same material, but learning and using more advanced playing methods.

PATCHWORK: A Trio of Table Runners

9 Wednesday nights - Starts on 12 May from 7-9pm

This is an ideal project to dive into your stash and pull some coordinating fabrics out. This table runner really lends itself to a scrap look. You could also use a packet of charm squares and cut them horizontally and vertically to give you the 2½” squares required.

Learn basic patternmaking techniques to make pattern alterations that you can later apply to an existing pattern. By the end of this course, you will have created a skirt pattern for a skirt that you have designed. Prior patternmaking knowledge is not necessary.
