Improve your driving skills, steer clear of danger and/or reduce your time on a restricted licence. This covers the theory part of the course only. An additional $60 is required to be paid to an approved driving instructor for the in car practical.

Digital Photography: Beginner

Learn how to get the best out of your camera by learning basic camera operating techniques, lenses, exposure, lighting, depth of field and how to make rather than take photographs. Also includes basic computer improvements to photos.

A practical course involving three classroom sessions, three Wednesday evening location shoots and one weekend shot. Sessions will cover people, landscape, still life, night photography, all designed to teach creative techniques of making photographs. Assumes a basic knowledge of camera operation.

Guitar: Beginner & Intermediate

This course will show beginners how to form basic chords and use them to accompany a range of songs. Students will learn several different strums and a simple but effective finger picking technique. Bring your own guitar. Intermediate students will work on the same material, but learning and using more advanced playing methods.

JAPANESE COOKING: Homestyle & Bento

4 Wednesday nights - Starts 3 November from 7-9pm

This class is now FULL. This will encompass both traditional ‘washoku’ cuisine, ‘yoshoku’ foreign-influenced Japanese food, and food from Kansai region (Osaka/Kyoto area). Also learn to prepare a variety of boxed meals from cute "kyaraben" to more formal traditional Japanese Cuisine. Bring your chopsticks, and a container to take leftovers home in.

PATCHWORK: Jump Start for Christmas

PATCHWORK: Scrap Happy

This class is now FULL. How would you like to turn your scrap bin into a quilt or two? In this term long class we will look at different ways to use your scraps for maximum effect. Throughout the class you will be introduced to a variety of blocks and setting ideas.

Learn basic patternmaking techniques to make pattern alterations to an existing pattern or block. There will be several blocks and patterns available for use in class, but students are also welcome to bring in their own. In this course you will be shown a range of pattern manipulations to help you turn an existing pattern in to a new design.
