Mercedes Godinez

I started training in 2006 with well respected teachers in New Zealand and overseas. I competed in the national competitions within the first year of training. Since then, I competed internationally and nationally for 5 years representing New Zealand at the Oceania Wushu Competitions and the Australian Wushu competitions. I have won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in a number of different events. Currently, still training and researching in the arts at its higher levels. I have been teaching Tai Chi since 2011.

TAI CHI: Beginner
8 Tuesday nights - Starts on 2 August from 6:30-7:30pm

Taichi is an exciting, fun, exercise for your body and mind.This is the art and exercise that the Chinese have been practicing to keep healthy. flexible, balanced, active,sociable and youthful.

TAI CHI: Intermediate
8 Tuesday nights - Starts 2 August from 7:45-8:45pm

This is for those who had taken the Beginners Taichi course for two terms and would like to improve, refine and develop their physical knowledge about taiChi. This class will concentrate on contemporary hand forms. Taichi is an exciting, fun, exercise for your body and mind.This is the art and exercise that the Chinese have been practicing to keep healthy. flexible, balanced, active,sociable and youthful. For those who have attended Tai Chi before this is an opportunity to extend your skills and knowledge.
