This course will cover preparation of materials, the 3 bobbin lace stitches, and basic techniques. You will have the opportunity to make a bookmark, a flower broach or stem and a traditional lace edging.
A materials fee of $64 for a beginner’s kit is payable to the tutor. Kit includes a lace pillow, 20 spangled bobbins, 2 cover cloths and thread for the projects. You can use your own lacemaking equipment if you have it or purchase your own pillow and bobbins elsewhere. The tutor is willing to purchase the kit back off you at the end of the course if you do not wish to continue exploring lacemaking. Please bring pins (not the berry/glass head variety) and scissors.

Refund requests must be made in writing to the Co-ordinator. Prior to the course commencing, a 20% administration cost will be removed from the refund. No refund will be available 24 hours prior to the course starting or once the course has started. A full refund is available should the Coordinator cancel the course.
