A good working computer knowledge is required for the course. Please bring your own images and laptops if you wish. A small class.
COURSE OUTLINE
Expected course outcomes
Students will be introduced to Photoshop. They will shown the program, the main features of its desktop and graphic images concepts and taken through how to work with, save and manipulate the image in a number of sophisticated ways.
Main topics:
The desktop, pull-down menus and shortcuts
Resolution, size of image and saving out of Photoshop ie import an image and save for desired purpose
Basic Changing of the image
Layers and selecting: Make copies of the image and then alter those copies. Select and change parts of an image.
Colours: Select colours and change them
Filters: Use filters to make small and major changes to an image
Photoshop Art: Copy between images, add text, lines and other graphics

Refund requests must be made in writing to the Co-ordinator. Prior to the course commencing, a 20% administration cost will be removed from the refund. No refund will be available 24 hours prior to the course starting or once the course has started. A full refund is available should the Coordinator cancel the course.
