If your weight pattern has an emotional driver that is not addressed it will be impossible to maintain any new habits for the long term. Perhaps you eat when lonely or bored, when stressed, or depressed, or when you're angry and can't express it? SELF DEFENCE: Krav Maga(Age 15+)

Krav Maga (contact combat) is a tactical self-defence system developed by the Israeli Defence Force. Its application and efficiency in the real world setting has been proven to be highly effective. Because of this, it is a self-defence system that is used widely by the military special forces, law enforcement agencies and bodyguards.

A creative writing course for beginners. We will cover the basics of fiction writing from gathering ideas for a story to character development. STAYING SAFE:

A refresher workshop for senior road users held at the Emmaus Centre, Tawa Anglican Church. This course has been subsidised by Tawa Lions Club. Staying Safe is a classroom-based refresher workshop for senior road users. The workshop aims to maintain and improve safe driving practices and increase knowledge of transport options available to help senior road users remain mobile.

TAWA & ITS BUSH RESERVES:

Five evening sessions that cover the Tawa bush reserves, identifying trees and birds present – some history and botany and bird observations. Two of these five sessions will be early evening walks in selected reserves. This course is designed for people who have no previous knowledge of these, but also those who wish to extend their existing knowledge.
