Peter Sheppard

Peter Sheppard is one of NZ’s leading fleet safety and driver education specialist. Peter’s work has included (with Waikato University), ground breaking research into adolescent driver’s frontal lobe development and advice to Government and the transport industry on fuel efficient driving and fleet safety management.

Defensive Driving (February)
2 Monday nights & 2 Wednesday nights - Starts Monday 11 February from 6:30-8:30pm

On Monday 11, Wednesday 13, Monday 18 and Wednesday 20 February. Improve your driving skills, steer clear of danger and/or reduce your time on a restricted licence. An additional $60 is required to be paid to a driving instructor for the in car practical.

1 Saturday morning - On 6 April from 9am-1pm

AA Driving School has developed a classroom training program for licensed drivers who want to update their driving skills and knowledge. The course teaches positive driving behaviours and a responsible philosophy towards ourselves and other road users.

STAYING SAFE:
3 Wednesday mornings - Starts on 27 March from 10am-12:30pm

A refresher workshop for senior road users held at the Emmaus Centre, Tawa Anglican Church. This course has been subsidised by Tawa Lions Club. Staying Safe is a classroom-based refresher workshop for senior road users. The workshop aims to maintain and improve safe driving practices and increase knowledge of transport options available to help senior road users remain mobile.
