We happily moved to NZ three years ago from the Netherlands, where I used to work as a psychologist.

Now I run my family of three teens, three cats & a dog, and my own small business Easy Now Mindfulness.

Having had a lifelong love of crochet, I greatly enjoy teaching this relaxing craft to people!

I also facilitate the colouring Sunday's at the Tawa Community Centre and I'm a qualified facilitator for the mindfulness in schools programme Pause Breathe Smile

4 Tuesday Nights - Starts on 9 February from 7-9pm

Crochet is a great activity that settles your mind and is relaxing too. Crochet and the repetitive movements help the brain make more serotonin, which helps to decrease feelings of depression. Learn to crochet by making little projects (a flower keychain, crochet hearts and granny squares). Learn about different stitches and notations and how to read patterns. Crochet is a great craft to learn, you can make awesome things for yourself or join a community craft group and crochet for a cause!
