Don Franks

Don Franks is a professional musician who has taught music at schools, adult and children's classes, in prison and to private students.

He’s performed at restaurants, dance halls, race meetings, hotels, concerts, weddings, funerals, supermarkets, festivals and protest rallies.

He currently produces the weekly Access radio programme, Don Franks' Music. As a music teacher, Don specialises in building students' confidence and enjoyment.

Guitar: Beginner & Intermediate
8 Wednesday nights - Starts on 10 February from 7-9pm

This course will show beginners how to form basic chords and use them to accompany a range of songs. Students will learn several different strums and a simple but effective finger picking technique. Bring your own guitar. Intermediate students will work on the same material, but learning and using more advanced playing methods.

Ukulele: Beginners & Intermediate
8 Tuesday nights - Starts on 9 February from 7-9pm

This course will show beginners how to form basic chords and use them to accompany a range of songs. Students will learn several different strums to suit slow, medium and faster tunes. Intermediate students will be able to learn new ways to get the best out of your ukulele Bring your own ukulele.
