Have you ever wanted to learn to spin your own yarn from wool? Whether for weaving, knitting or pure fun, turning fluff into yarn- stuff is an incredibly tactile and satisfying hobby!

Fees: NZ$125 - Includes materials fee


This course will cover the basics from sheep’s wool to finished yarn. Students will
learn to spin on a spindle and a wheel and understand a range of theory behind spinning
techniques. Suitable for beginners with no background experience. Students will go
home with their very own small skein of yarn and a drop spindle to continue their spinning
journey!
Materials fee covers 200 grams of wool to spin and a drop spindle.

Refund requests must be made in writing to the Co-ordinator.   Prior to the course commencing, a 20% administration cost will be removed from the refund. No refund will be available 24 hours prior to the course starting or once the course has started. A full refund is available should the Coordinator cancel the course.
