Development of the adolescent brain is critical when it comes to learning to drive. International research confirms parents can play a significant role in shaping and influencing the executive functions required of adolescents when learning to drive a motor vehicle. This two hour session provides tips on the learning to drive process and driving techniques to ensure their family members commence on a path of life long safe driving. Copies of the new Going Solo resource for parents and restricted drivers will be available.

Tawa College has had input into the preparation of the Going Solo resouce that is now being offered nation wide.
