Making silver rings and things…..learn a wide range of jewellery making techniques including soldering, texturing, colouring sawing, filing and finishing. The emphasis is on practical skills leading to finished items of jewellery. The silver for your first ring is included in the course costs as is copper to practice with, any other silver used must be purchased from the tutor on the day. All tools are provided. No previous experience necessary. This is a class for absolute beginners and the less experienced jeweller.
We will be working with hot metal and tools so covering footwear please; no open shoes, sandals or jandals allowed. This is for your safety in the workshop.
