ESOL: Basic Conversational Group

Do you want to speak in English on a phone and chat at the supermarket? Come and join a small, friendly ESOL class and share in very easy talking. We also say and write words in NZ English like “Bring a plate” and find out about living in New Zealand. All are welcome

ESOL: Intermediate Conversational Group

8 Wednesday nights - Starts 2 May from 7-9pm

Conversational English for those who feel confident at reading and writing. The focus is on learning pronunciation & meaning in a NZ context so that you will gain NZ cultural intelligence to complement your English language skills. Emphasis is placed on topical NZ cultural events so that you may gain confidence and become part of your community.

Sewing for Beginners (Tues)

8 Tuesday nights - Starts 8 May from 7-9pm

Want to learn about sewing but don’t know where to start. Learn how to understand a pattern, work out the material needed and what sewing words mean. Start by making a bag followed by a project approved of by the tutor. (If you wish to make your own project you need to go to Monday night sewing)
